To celebrate Plastic Free July and play our part, the City of Holdfast Bay is offering modern cloth nappy starter packs worth over $200 for just $50 to residents.
Each pack contains six modern cloth nappies and four reusable flannel cloths.
By using modern cloth nappies, you will help reduce the amount of waste, including single-use plastics, sent to landfill.
Each year, 1.5 billion disposable nappies end up in Australian landfill sites.
The modern cloth nappies starter packs can be purchased from the Brighton Civic Centre, which is open Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm. Just bring proof of address such as a driver's licence or a utility bill. There are 20 packs available to purchase.
