Library Computers

Public Access computers are available for free.

These computers have internet access and Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, Excel, Publisher, Access)
Bookings can be made via:

  • the phone
  • in-person using the self booking station, online (see below) or by speaking to a staff member.
  • You can also walk up and use any Available PC by logging in with your Library barcode number and PIN.

Advance bookings can be made up to a week prior. There is also a 15 minute drop-in service at both libraries.

Use the link below if you would like to book a Library PC online. Please ensure you select the desired library location e.g. Brighton or Glenelg.
You will need to enter your Library card number and PIN.
Free self-service scanning is available using the plug-in scanner located with the Public Access computers or by using the copier/printer.

Using the copier/printer scanning can be done to a portable USB device or to an email address.


Free Wi-Fi access is available at all SA public libraries.

Join the network called, LibrariesSA-Free.
To access the Wi-Fi you will need to accept the terms and conditions.
There is no time limit for Wi-Fi usage but downloads are restricted to 5GB per day.


Self service printing & copying is available at both our libraries.

  • A4 Black & White: 20 cents per page
  • A4 Colour: $1 per page
  • A3 Black & White: 30 cents per page
  • A3 Colour: $2 per page
