Built during World War II, the Glenelg shelter was one of seven constructed in Adelaide’s most populous suburbs and formed part of a communication network. In 1995 the shelter was converted into a museum to honour the service of local men and women in military conflicts. The shelter is staffed by volunteers who would love to hear your war-related stories.
