Rotary Youth Photographic Exhibition

We invite all local children in Reception—Year 6 who live or go to school in Holdfast Bay to get creative and submit photographs that reflect our local Nature and Environment for inclusion in the exhibition.

Brighton artist Jon Carl is the first to admit is style of art is quirky – so it’s only fitting that his upcoming exhibition at Glenelg’s Bay Discovery Centre is titled Too Quirky.

What's in a name - who was Kitty Whyte?

It is a rare honour for two monuments to commemorate one person but that’s the case for Brighton’s Kitty Whyte - a woman devoted to keeping others safe at sea but whose own life was tragically cut short not far from where she once lived.
