Jetty Road

Jetty Road is open to all vehicles, except for the section of roadway west of Durham Street to Colley Terrace.

Moseley Street

There is vehicle access to and from Jetty Road from Moseley Street. While the Colley Terrace corner remains closed, traffic from Moseley Street must turn right onto Jetty Road.

The left-hand turn onto Jetty Road towards Colley Terrace will be reimplemented in early 2026.

Traffic light poles have been installed at the Jetty Road / Moseley Street intersection, but will not be operational until early 2026.

Colley Terrace

There is no vehicle access to Jetty Road from Colley Terrace.

A turnaround area has been implemented at Hope Street.

Local traffic is permitted up to the corner of Moseley Square, including visitors to Colley Towers and delivery vehicles.

Pedestrians can still access Jetty Road and Moseley Square from Colley Terrace.

Colley Terrace is expected to reopen to vehicles in early 2026.

Durham Street

Durham Street remains one-way southbound between Augusta Street and Jetty Road, and vehicles can exit onto Jetty Road via a left-hand turn.

Temporary changes to bus services

Buses will be redirected from Colley Terrace to Anzac Highway with stops near Wigley Reserve.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to Section 32 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, that the City of Holdfast Bay has resolved to close a road, known as an unnamed public laneway that runs north-south between Strickland Road and Seaview Avenue, Kingston Park (‘the laneway’) for the purposes of restricting the flow and impact of traffic within the laneway and on nearby roads.

The closure takes effect on 15 August 2025 and will be effected by the use of traffic control devices placed at the northern and southern ends of the closed portion of the laneway and the laneway’s intersection with another unnamed laneway that runs east-west between the laneway and Barton Avenue

Santos Tour Down Under THINK! Road Safety Men's Stage 4 – BRIGHTON START – 24 January 2026

Road closures will commence 5am Saturday 24 January and expire at (or before) 2.30pm on the same day. Below are the roads that will be affected by these closures:

• Jetty Road, Brighton, between Elm Street and the Esplanade

• The Esplanade, Brighton, between Bellview Terrace and Beach Road

• Twinnings Lane, Elm Street and Gurrs Road will be accessible by local traffic only, but will not have access to Jetty Road due to the closure.

• Bindarra Road, Duncluse Avenue and Alfreda Street will be accessible by local traffic only, but will not have access to the Esplanade due to the closure.

Tow Away Areas:
Please note that in accordance with the Road Traffic Act 1961, Section 40N, vehicles parked within temporary road closures or within temporary No Parking and No Stopping areas will be towed away.

The event will be conducted in accordance with Council and Emergency Services guidelines.
