Council Assessment Panel

Council Assessment Panel meetings are held in the Kingston Room, Brighton Civic Centre, 24 Jetty Road, Brighton and commence at 7pm.

There are four Independent Members and one Elected Member on the Council Assessment Panel. The Presiding Member is Independent Member (vacant), and the other Independent Members are Graham Goss, David Bailey (Acting Presiding Member) and Jim Gronthos. The representative of Council is Councillor Bouchee.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend Council Assessment Panel meetings. Meetings are only closed when topics of a confidential nature are being discussed. While meetings are open to the public, it is not possible to join in the debate or speak to the Panel during the meeting unless a representation is arranged prior to the meeting.

Business papers and agendas for upcoming meetings, as well as the minutes of previous meetings, can be viewed here. Minutes of the meeting are available online and at the Brighton Civic Centre on the Friday following a meeting, while the papers and agendas are available on the Friday preceding a meeting.
