Automated External Defibrillators Locations

Automated External Defibrillators Locations

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), are in public buildings across the City of Holdfast Bay and are accessible during opening hours.
A defibrillator (AED) is a portable device to be used on a person that is in cardiac arrest before an ambulance arrives.

AEDs can be used by the general public. The AED will give voice instructions on how to use it once it is switched on.
The AED will deliver a measured electrical shock to restore the normal effective cardiac rhythm. You cannot hurt someone by using an AED.

*Also known as Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD), or Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator (WCD).
