Arts Opportunities & Grants

Arts Opportunities & Grants

The City of Holdfast Bay offers a range of opportunities for artists, creatives, and performers living and working in our city. Whether you are emerging or professional, artists can be supported in many ways in their creative practice.

We value the opportunity to connect people through creativity and provide workshops to encourage people to learn new skills, expand their thinking, or tap into their creative side. If you are interested in facilitating a creative workshop, we would like to hear your ideas.

SALA in Holdfast Bay 2025

The South Australian Living Artist SALA festival will be held in August 2025 and is the largest open-access visual arts festival in Australia. SALA provides the opportunity for a diverse range of South Australian artists to showcase their artworks in unique spaces across the state.

Here in Holdfast Bay, we value the annual SALA Festival and provide an opportunity for artists to get involved and exhibit their artworks as part of our Art at Partridge event. The two-day celebration of art will be held at Partridge House, Glenelg, from Saturday 9 to Sunday 10 August, and applications are now open to exhibiting artists and indoor stallholders until Friday 27 June 2025.
