Dover Square Tennis Club has a hall available for public hire—the Lou Kesting Community Hall, located immediately next to the tennis clubroom on Broadway. Formerly South Brighton Hall, it was renamed in honour of Lou Kesting (1905-1978) in recognition of his tireless volunteer services and leadership in the development of the community facilities.
Lou Kesting Community Hall has a kitchenette, unisex toilet facilities, a piano, a raised stage, ceiling fans, and lots of seating and tables.
The hall is hired for regular yoga lessons, meditation, mental health services, martial arts classes, community meetings, aerobics, and dancing groups.
To maintain strong hygiene practices, the Lou Kesting Community Hall is professionally cleaned every week, all year round.
