Community feedback, ideas and suggestions are being sought to help inform designs for a new playspace and surrounds at Wattle Reserve, Hove.

The current play equipment has reached the end of its asset life which has provided an opportunity for the well-used park to be transformed into a vibrant reserve.

Once it’s determined what types of play equipment the community wants, concept designs will be drafted, and they will also be made available for the community to review and provide feedback on later this year.

There are also two upcoming opportunities to speak to the project team at a community drop-in session at Wattle Reserve. Come along between 10am – 11am on Wednesday 1 October or between 4pm – 5pm on Thursday 2 October 2025.

The current basketball court, pickleball court and volleyball net will be retained in the space. The public toilet facilities will also be retained however will be upgraded as a separate project in 2026.

Feedback can be provided until 5pm on Wednesday 15 October 2025.
