STEAM Mates is a monthly interactive activity focusing on one of the following areas: science, technology, engineering, arts, or mathematics.

Through interactive activities and creative play, kids will learn how our bodies work; from the blood that flows through our veins to the heart that keeps it all moving.

Sensory Blood Activity: Discover what’s in our blood using fun materials like red water beads (red blood cells), ping pong balls (white blood cells), craft foam (platelets), and water (plasma).

Body System Puzzle: Help us "recycle" and place the organs back into the right spots in the body!

Heart Pumping Demo: See how your heart pumps blood with a hands-on experiment.

FREE.

Suitable for ages 5–8.

Bookings essential.

We will always do our best to run our programs. However, please understand that programs may be cancelled at the last minute due to changes in health requirements.

This event has been organised by the City of Holdfast Bay Libraries.
