Paying a parking fine

Parking fines can only be paid from 8:30 AM the next business day after issue. You can pay in person, by post or online.
Parking fine notices can only be paid from 8:30 AM the next business day after issue. Your expiation number can be found on the issued expiation notice.

Pay on line

Prior to the due date, pay this notice at any Post Office or attach a Cheque or Money Order with the ticket number written clearly on the back and post to:

BRIGHTON
SA 5048.

Pay in person at:

  • Brighton Civic Centre 24 Jetty Road, BRIGHTON (currently not available)
  • Glenelg Library and Customer Service Centre (currently not available)

Appeal against paying a parking fine

If you believe there are mitigating circumstances or reason for cancellation of the expiation notice:

You can submit an appeal in writing via the Expiation Review Form below

A Statutory Declaration is available for use on the Expiation Review Form with Statutory Declaration.

Due to COVID -19 close proximity policy JPs, MPs and authorised SAPOL members are no longer willing to witness and stamp their authorisations on statutory declarations, therefore submissions do not require signed statutory declarations, please ensure any documents that support your claim are included (medical certificates, mechanical reports, permits etc.).

If you were not the driver at the time the expiation notice was issued, you need to complete a Statutory Declaration nominating the person responsible. We require the driver’s full name and full address, date of birth and driver's licence.
