Please note due to COVID-19 restrictions the immunisation clinic for Friday 20 November has been cancelled.
At the City of Holdfast Bay, we support the health and wellbeing of the community by providing a safe, accessible and cost-effective immunisation service in order to prevent the spread of diseases. Vaccines recommended for babies, children, adolescents and adults on the National Immunisation Program (NIP)* are available at no cost to people with a current medicare card. other vaccines are recommended and are available for a fee.
(* Except shingles vaccine, some Medically at Risk (MAR) groups and some catch up programs. These are available through GP services.)

We offer walk-in clinics on:
- 3pm – 5:30pm on the first Wednesday of every month.
- 10am – 12:30pm on the third Friday of every month.

Please remember to bring your child’s health record (blue book), Medicare card and any other relevant immunisation record.
Bookings are not required, therefore allow for time to wait.
- Council's immunisation service is not able to provide services to non-Medicare card holders. (*) Please see your GP.
(*Some vaccinations such as the flu or dTpa Boostrix vaccination are available at a cost for individuals who do not have a medicare card.)
We highly recommend annual influenza (flu) vaccinations. The flu vaccine in free for anyone aged 65+, pregnant women and other eligible groups who are considered medically at risk. Additional immunisation clinics may be held during the flu season. The dates and times for the 2021 flu clinics will be published on this website in march that year.
