Planning an Event
At the City of Holdfast Bay, we support the health and wellbeing of the community by providing a safe, accessible and cost-effective immunisation service in order to prevent the spread of diseases.
There will be NO IMMUNISATION CLINIC held at the Brighton Masonic Hall, City of Holdfast Bay on Wednesday 5 May 2021.
Note: The FLU CLINIC on the 5 May 2021 from 6-7 pm is not affected by this change.
Below is a list of adjacent councils’ clinic schedules:
Vaccines recommended for babies, children, adolescents and adults on the National Immunisation Program (NIP)* are available at no cost to people with a current medicare card. other vaccines are recommended and are available for a fee.
(* Except shingles vaccine, some Medically at Risk (MAR) groups and some catch up programs. These are available through GP services.)
We offer walk-in clinics on:
- 3 pm – 5:30 pm on the first Wednesday of every month.
- 10 am – 12:30 pm on the third Friday of every month.
Please remember to bring your child’s health record (blue book), Medicare card and any other relevant immunisation record.
Bookings are not required, therefore allow for time to wait.
- Council's immunisation service is not able to provide services to non-Medicare card holders. (*) Please see your GP.
(*Some vaccinations such as the flu or dTpa Boostrix vaccination are available at a cost for individuals who do not have a medicare card.)

PLEASE NOTE: Bookings are essential and we do not vaccinate children 3 years old and under for flu.
We highly recommend annual influenza (flu) vaccinations. The flu vaccine in free for anyone aged 65+, pregnant women and other eligible groups who are considered medically at risk.
