The City of Holdfast Bay offers rebates on several products that help our community live a greener, healthier lifestyle.
Consider electrifying your home and creating a healthier future by upgrading to energy-efficient electrical appliances and switching to clean, renewable energy. This will lead to lower energy costs and create new job opportunities.
While funds last, households and businesses can receive one rebate per financial year on one of the items below.

Terms and Conditions
- Your business or household must be in the City of Holdfast Bay.
- While funds last, households and businesses can only receive one rebate per financial year for one of the items listed above.
- The item for which you are claiming a rebate must have been purchased in the same financial year in which you are claiming the rebate. For example, an item bought before July 2025 will not be eligible for a rebate.
- Your proof of purchase must be a receipt or a tax invoice, not a quote.
- *You must provide an Electrical Certificate of Compliance for all electrical appliances installed by an electrician. Claims for these items will be ineligible without one.
- *If applying for a rebate for an electric appliance or an EV charger, you must provide before and after photographic evidence.
- #If purchasing indigenous plants, they must be listed on this Native Species List to access the rebate. For more information and images of the plants, see the links below. Contact us for advice if you're unsure.
How to claim your rebate
To claim your rebate, simply fill in the form below and upload proof of purchase (receipt) and residency (rates notice, utilities bill or driver's licence).
If applying for a rebate for an electric appliance or an EV charger, you must provide before-and-after photographic evidence.
An Electrical Certificate of Compliance for electrical appliances must also be uploaded. Your electrician should supply this within 30 days of finishing the installation of your new appliance.
If your rebate meets the criteria and is approved, we will contact you for your bank account details so that we can deposit the funds into it.
