In this workshop, participants will learn the essentials of designing a vibrant, eco-friendly garden and verge with native plants. We’ll explore how these plants support local wildlife, conserve resources, and offer ecological benefits like attracting pollinators and improving soil health.

Adhering to the City of Holdfast Bay guidelines for verge planting will also be covered, along with practical tips on soil preparation, planting techniques, and ongoing care.

The fundamentals of habitat and verge gardening will be covered, and questions and conversation is encouraged. The session aims to inspire attendees to confidently transform their gardens and verges into thriving habitats that enhance biodiversity.

All materials are provided, and participants will receive an info booklet to take home.
