Brighton Winter Solstice

The following roads in Brighton will be closed to traffic between midday Saturday 21 June and 1am on Sunday 22 June:

• Jetty Road, between Elm Street and Esplanade
• Esplanade, between Dunluce Avenue and Beach Road
• Gurrs Road, between Dunluce Avenue and Jetty Road (local traffic excepted)
• Twining Lane, between Jetty Road and Bindarra Road (local traffic excepted)

Tow away zones between midday Saturday 21 June and 1am on Sunday 22 June:

• Jetty Road, between Esplanade and 45m east of Elm Street
• Esplanade, between Dunluce Avenue and Beach Road
• Elm Street, between Jetty Road and Bindarra Road
• Gurrs Road, 25m north of Jetty Road

Permit zones between 4pm Friday 20 June and 1am on Sunday 22 June:

• Gurrs Road, between Dunluce Avenue and Jetty Road
• Jetty Road, between Esplanade and 45m east of Elm Street (northern side

Permit zones between 10am Saturday 21 June and 1am on Sunday 22 June:

• Bindarra Road, 35m west of Twining Lane (reserve side)

• Food/Drink - From existing Jetty Road traders, who have activations on the street or extend their opening hours for the event.
• Retail - From existing Jetty Road traders, who have activations on the street or extend opening hours for the event.
• Music - Live music on the main stage in a new location on Gurrs Road/Jetty Road intersection and on the Esplanade.
• Kid's Zone - Free 'Decorate your own winter solstice postcard' activity by the Brighton Library team, large outdoor games and more... located near the eastern entry at Elm Street.
• Silent Disco - A free all-ages silent disco facilitated by DJ Tania Smith!
• Community Colouring-in Wall - Come and colour in a giant artwork of iconic images of Brighton.

Main stage (Located at Gurrs Road):

• 4:30pm - 5:30pm Elijah Schueler Music
• 6pm - 7pm THE COFFEE AND GROOVE COLLECTIVE
• 7:30pm - 9:15pm SuperLatin
