Notice is given that pursuant to Section 26 of the Harbors and Navigation Act 1993, the Department for Infrastructure and Transport has granted an Aquatic Activity Licence to the Brighton Surf Life Saving Club to conduct an Open Water Swim event on the below areas of water as follows;
At Brighton extending from the alignment of King Street, Brighton, South to the alignment of Young Street, Seacliff and extending 300 metres seaward from the shoreline.
For safety reasons, vessels, and persons other than those participating in the events are prohibited from entering the above area of water between 6am and 5pm on Sunday 1 February 2026.
