What is code? What does it look like and what does it do?
Join us for a basic overview of what code is, what it looks like, the different programming languages, and how it's used.
You will then have the opportunity to try out some basic block coding and make a flappy bird game. We will also cover what free resources are available for you to continue your journey to learning code.
This is a basic session suitable for those who have no experience with coding, who are either interested in learning the basics of what code is or are looking to start learning code.
Please note that library staff are not experts in programming, and can can only provide a basic overview. Participants are welcome to bring their own device, however laptops will also be provided by the library for use during this event. Basic computer skills are essential.
