The GoodRunnings event on 9-10 December 2023 is TWO running events in one - a distance-based event called the 'Reindeer Run' and a time-based event called 'Dusk to Dawn 6/12'.
The Reindeer Run offers distances from 1km - 30km. Dusk to Dawn 6/12 offers a 6-hour and 12-hour. All distances (and times) will run along a 2.5km loop around the Patawalonga Creek, with an increased amount of loops for farther distances. All events begin between 6-7pm (with a 4pm early start available to those who request it), running into the cool gentle breeze of the night.
The Reindeer Run offers a fun, festive atmosphere to kick off the holiday season, while the Dusk to Dawn 6/12 offers runners a chance to see how far they can run in a 6-hour or 12-hour event - on a course so flat that a national record has been established in the event in 2022!
