Each 2.5 hour workshop starting Thursday, June 8 is delivered to a group of up to 15 adults between 10am - 12:30pm at the YMCA Holdfast Bay Community Centre. Each session includes easy and fun weekly module activities, a practical cooking lessons culminating with the sharing of a meal together.

Week 4 (June 29) - Eat for the Environment
Week 5 (July 6) - Participants' Choice
Week 6 (July 13 )- Eat for Life
At the final workshop, everyone receives a certificate and take-home tool kit, with infographic fact sheets and OzHarvest Everyday Cookbook.
The Nutritional Educational and Skills Training (NEST) is developed in alignment with the Australian Dietary Guidelines and healthy eating strategies with support from researchers at Deakin University, University of Woolongong, and Sydney University.
This training course is heavily subsidised by the City of Holdfast Bay with tickets for all 6 sessions costing residents just $30 each.
This is a Resilient South-supported event, funded by the City of Holdfast Bay and open to all communities and visitors to the Cities of Onkaparinga, Mitcham, Marion and Holdfast Bay.
