Following the dawn service, The Glenelg Town Hall will be opened by volunteers between 6:30 - 7am on ANZAC Day to allow the community to view the Great War Honour Roll after the dawn service.

The Honour Roll lists the names of those who served in WWI and those who lost their lives in WWII from the Glenelg area. The Town Hall also houses a Book of Honour with the names of those who served in WWII.

Glenelg's Air-Raid Shelter
will also be open on Anzac Day from 11am - 1pm.

Built-in 1942 as part of a WWII communications network, it now houses exhibitions and memorabilia which tell the stories of Holdfast Bay and its residents during the various wars, including WWII.

The shelter is staffed by volunteers who would love to hear your war-related stories.

Access is via a steep flight of stairs.

Entry via a gold coin donation.
