The Beachouse is a fun family entertainment centre packed with games and rides for kids and adults alike. Enjoy heated waterslides, arcade games, carousels, bumper boats, dodgem cars, mini golf, and much more!

Historic Glenelg Town Hall in Moseley Square features the Bay Discovery Centre Museum. You’ll find a rich variety of visual arts and a captivating collection of interpretive displays that bring Holdfast Bay’s cultural heritage to life. Displays include Colonel William Light, Proclamation, Voyage, Arrival Exhibition, and a Place by the Sea. Don’t miss the authentic wooden Bathing Box for a taste of last century’s beach culture.

Moseley Square water fountains and the Glenelg Foreshore playground are hives of activity throughout the summer months, offering a huge range of family-friendly entertainment and sporting activities. Look out for the bungy trampoline, pedal cars, and talented buskers.

Our beaches offer a wide range of experiences including swimming, sailing, snorkeling, kayaking, diving, stand-up paddle boarding, and fishing. Our coastline has several user-friendly foreshore parks and reserves. The grassed areas are great for picnics and are equipped with BBQ facilities, playgrounds, and public toilets.

Event Cinemas, Glenelg in the eastern end of Glenelg’s Jetty Road precinct boasts six cinemas, onsite licensed café/bar and an enticing mix of arthouse and blockbuster movies in a stylish, purpose-built cinema complex.

Simply go to your nearest store, choose and pay for a plaster model from our extensive range, and have free use of our paints to paint your creation in our stores. When your creation is complete we will provide a spray gloss and glitter totally free if desired.

Glenelg Foreshore Playground

The Glenelg Foreshore Playspace is located on the seaside of the iconic Glenelg Town Hall. It features timber logs for climbing and balancing; water and sand play; a hammock swing; grassy mounds; a giant, wide slide; a climbing dome, cubby, and tunnel; rope activities; in-ground trampolines; and raised and sunken pods for seating and play.

Wigley Reserve Playspace

The Wigley Reserve Playspace features a climbing tunnel, in-ground trampolines, swings, slides, a log climbing structure, stepping boulders, and a sensory nature trail. In addition, there's a BBQ area, drinking fountain, bike racks, custom-built shade structure, seating, and ten new exercise stations in the fitness hub.

Accessibility is a focus with the new space offering increased opportunity to all ages, interests, and abilities.

The play space is close to public transport, food & drink offerings, and walking and cycling paths, making it even more of an attraction for families.
