From the Adelaide Airport
Car: A 10-minute drive, exiting the airport left onto Sir Donald Bradman Drive and another left onto Tapley’s Hill Road and then turn right down Anzac Highway or Jetty Road. Check out many car hire companies at the Airport or pre-book before you land.
Taxi: A 10-minute cab ride from the Airport Taxi Rank costs approximately AUD $20.
Bus: Bus number J1 will get you to Glenelg in around 25 minutes.
From the Adelaide CBD
Bus: The City to Glenelg bus takes approximately 35-45 minutes.
Tram: The famous ‘Bay Tram’ runs regularly from the heart of the Adelaide CBD and takes approximately 30 minutes from Victoria Square.
Bike: Adelaide City Bikes are free to hire from the City; follow Anzac Highway to Glenelg or check out the Mike Turtur Bikeway.

Getting Around
Most areas and attractions of Glenelg are within walking distance of Jetty Road, but if you want to look at the sights in and around Adelaide hop on a bus, the tram, or take a taxi trip.
At the end of Jetty Road in Moseley Square, there is a tram stop with trams running frequently from 5:10am right through until 11:30pm weekdays, 6:20am until 11:30pm Saturdays and Sundays and public holidays from 7:30am until 11:30pm. Trams also have wheelchair access, but no bikes are allowed on. There are also a couple of other stops along Jetty Road to the top of Brighton Road - all of Jetty Road is FREE. From Brighton Road, you must pay on board with a card or coins, but dollar notes are not accepted. Most newsagents will sell travel tickets/passes.
Moseley Street in Glenelg, (the last street on the left if you are heading towards the Jetty) has a range of buses going to the city 265, 190, 167, J1, and more. There are also buses that will take you to Henley Beach, Habour Town, Adelaide Airport, Brighton, Marion Shopping Centre, and Unley. Buses have a fee and you can get tickets/passes from the driver or most newsagents and once again no bikes.
