Council Assessment Panel

Council Assessment Panel meetings are held once a month at the Brighton Civic Centre.

There are four Independent Members and one Elected Member on the Council Assessment Panel. The Presiding Member is Independent Member, Yvonne Svensson, and the other Independent Members are Sarah Reachill, Ross Bateup and Tim Pride. The representative of Council is Councillor Jane Fleming

Members of the public are encouraged to attend Council Assessment Panel meetings. Meetings are only closed when topics of a confidential nature are being discussed. While meetings are open to the public, it is not possible to join in the debate or speak to the Panel during the meeting unless a representation is arranged before the meeting.

Business papers and agendas for upcoming meetings, as well as the minutes of previous meetings, can be viewed below. Minutes of the meeting are available online and at the Brighton Civic Centre on the Friday following a meeting, while the papers and agendas are available on the Friday preceding a meeting.
