With the current news and situation evolving with Coronavirus (COVID-19), the City of Holdfast Bay is closely monitoring the latest information from Federal and State governments and are working to manage the impact to our people and community.

Customer Service

Located at 24 Jetty Road, Brighton, the centre is open to the public 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Fridays.

Visitors must wear a mask and check in with QR code.

Please follow safe social distancing and health advice by keeping 1.5m apart, maintaining personal hygiene by regularly washing/sanitising hands, and not visiting the Civic Centre if you are unwell.

Libraries

Our libraries at Brighton and Glenelg are open.

Visitors must wear a mask and check in with a QR code.

Visitors are reminded to follow social distancing and health advice by keeping 1.5m apart, maintaining personal hygiene by regularly washing/sanitising hands, and not visiting the library if they are unwell.

You can access a varied and interesting collection of resources from home including eBooks, eAudio books, digital magazines, and more, which are all free to use and accessible with your library card and PIN (your PIN is the last four digits of your phone number if you have a Holdfast Bay library card).

Bay Discovery Centre and Visitor Information Outlet

The Bay Discovery Centre and the Visitor Information Outlet at the Glenelg Town Hall is open and has now resumed normal hours.

Visitors must wear a mask and check in with QR code.
Open daily from 10am to 2pm.

Community Programs and Community transport

Community Transport and Community programs are now running again.

Visitors must wear a mask and reminded to follow social distancing and health advice.

Community Centres and Community Gardens

  • Glenelg Community Centre – Opens Wednesday 4 August.
  • Brighton Community Centre – Open with restricted programming.
  • Glenelg North Community Centre – Open with restricted programming.
  • Holdfast Bay Community Centre – Open from with restricted programming.

Glenelg North and North Brighton Community Gardens are open and adhering to required COVID-19 restrictions.
