Community Wellbeing Roadshow
The Community Wellbeing team is going on the road! Over the coming months we will be ‘popping up’ in a location near you!
If you are interested to know what services are available to help you or a loved one remain living independently at home, then check out the location details below and come and join us on the day.
Not only will we have staff on hand to talk you through the possibilities on offer, there will also be free coffee and giveaways!

Assistant for Memory Enhancement – 12 week research project
Holdfast Bay is again supporting Flinders University to conduct critical research. We are looking for people who are over 65 and may be having trouble remembering things like people, appointments, events or tasks.
This is research is held over 12 weeks. Each participant will be provided with an iPad and any other necessary training to complete the research.

Making Every Contact Count (MECC)
The City of Holdfast Bay is the first metropolitan council in Australia to participate in the MECC (Making Every Contact Count) initiative. In partnership with SA Health and Meals on Wheels we are talking with older residents about lifestyle changes that can improve health and independence.

If you are concerned about the care or services you receive you can make a complaint. Providers can improve the quality of care and services they provide to you and other residents.
