Service Description: Provide food voucher, food parcels, bread, fruit and vegetables, Op Shop voucher, Café voucher, bus tickets, assistance with telephone bill, referral service.
Operates in the St Andrew’s By the Sea Uniting Church Hall each Tuesday night from 6pm-7:30pm. The soup kitchen is a Christian outreach program that provides food and support to between 30-50 people each Tuesday night.
Orange Sky Laundry
Patrons of Mary’s Kitchen on Tuesday evenings will also find the Orange Sky Laundry van parked at the front of the St Andrew’s By the Sea Uniting church. Volunteers offer a warm smile, a listening ear and take time to chat to people as they use the free washing and drying facilities in the van. Fresh clothes in under an hour!

The Inner Southern Homeless Service run by UnitingCare Wesley Bowden is a regional homeless gateway and service hub, which facilitates a combination of on-site community-based outreach and in home support. The service has been established to help people who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness achieve the maximum degree of self-reliance and independence, to assist in resolving crises and to re-establish a capacity to live independently of a specialist homelessness service. Based at Marion Rd, the ISHS operates across local government areas of City of Marion, City of Holdfast Bay and City of Mitcham.
Homeless Gateway Service
Eligibility: Families and single people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness; women and children affected by domestic or family violence; young people
Service Description: Telephone information - crisis intervention for families and single homeless people, Intake, assessment and referral for emergency accommodation. After hours service for youth crisis accommodation
Street to Home Service
Eligibility: People who are homeless and sleeping rough in the Adelaide metropolitan area.
Service description: Case management to secure and maintain accommodation, support active seeking of and outreach to people sleeping rough throughout metropolitan Adelaide, discuss options in accessing crisis accommodation and other housing options assistance to access health care advice, advocacy, assessment and referrals.
