Colley Tce roundabout and sculpture to undergo repairs
Improvements and repair works will be carried out on the Colley Terrace / Anzac Highway roundabout and into Colley Terrace, which will impact traffic movements.
Works will be delivered in stages under managed road closures, with a partial closure of Colley Terrace from Anzac Highway to Augusta Street, with exceptions for local residents.
Also happening this week, the Still Water sculpture, located at the Colley Terrace / Anzac Highway roundabout, will undergo some onsite repairs and maintenance.
Some sections of the sculpture will be craned out, repaired and then reinstated and the works should be completed in one day.
The upgrades, which are not part of the Transforming Jetty Road Glenelg project, will cover upgrades to stormwater infrastructure and road pavement.
A new traffic island will also be constructed to create a pedestrian refuge crossing on the southern approach to the roundabout.
There will be some changes to Colley Terrace bus movements while the works are undertaken.
The improvement works will continue until the end of June 2025.
