Holdfast Bay encompasses 11km of foreshore featuring wide sandy beaches stretching from Glenelg to Kingston Park. Our Beaches offer a wide range of water experiences including swimming, sailing, snorkelling, kayaking, diving, stand-up paddle boarding and fishing.
Surf Lifesavers patrol Glenelg, Somerton Park and Seacliff beaches during summer. These beaches will be marked with red and yellow flags that indicate the safest part of the beach to swim and the area constantly is under surveillance by lifesavers/lifeguards.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Stand Up Paddle SA rents and hires stand up paddle boards from Seacliff beach. Lessons can be arranged and are conducted by the very experienced staff. There is a wide array of stand up paddle boards for rent ranging from beginner to race boards. Boards may be transported to other venues by arrangement.
