Welcome to the City of Holdfast Bay Library Service. We offer a range of services and programs as well as an up-to-date collection of items to borrow.
We have joined the SA public library ‘one card’ network. Using your current library card you will be able to reserve and borrow material held at any of the participating libraries. Use the library catalogue below to search the collections of Holdfast Bay and other SA libraries.
Search for library items, place holds, renew loans and much more.
If you can't find what you are looking for, fill out a purchase request and we will try and get it for you.
A number of LibraryThing for Libraries enhancements have been added to our online catalogue to help you find what you are looking for.
These include the tag cloud where users have added subject descriptions to items that other users can click on and see titles that relate to this subject.
"You might also like ..." with recomendations to help you find similar titles.
Virtual Shelf browser that shows users what other titles are shelved nearby.
These features appear on the online catalogue when you click on a title to see more detail. Look for the LibraryThing Content heading.
Bookmarklet allows you to search an online bookstore and then check to see if the library holds a copy of this title.
Follow the instructions here to add this to your PC, MAC or iOS device's web browser.
