We have a varied and interesting collection of electronic resources. These include eBooks, eAudio books, digital magazines, digital comics, movies and more. All are completely free for you to use.
Almost all can be used from home or anywhere else that you can access the internet.
All you need is your library card number and PIN.
Your PIN is the last four digits of your phone number (if you have a Holdfast Bay library card).

PK Mag

A magazine for creative kids.
Students can experience the thrill of being published with PK. Submissions accepted from all subject areas including short stories, poems, art, craft, reviews, musical performances, science projects and more. With interviews of popular children’s authors, sporting heroes, and of course plenty of competitions, it’s a fun and funky place for all primary school kids.

Comics Plus Library Edition

Contains thousands of digital graphic novels and comics from dozens of publishers.
Titles are classified according to audience: Kids (ages 5+), Middle Grade (ages 9+), Teens/Young Adults (ages 13+), Mature (ages 16+).
Comics are available anytime, anywhere with internet connected devices such as tablets, PCs and smartphones.
Titles can be checked out for 7 days at a time and renewed at the end of the loan period.

lyndaLibrary

lyndaLibrary is a user-friendly online training resource. It offers a variety of expertly presented training courses, all of which are edited for accuracy. The flexibility of lyndaLibrary allows you to complete training sections at your own pace, and the site will also save your place for your return.

It is recommended that users set up a profile as this will give you a personalised welcome page, put your name on certificates of completion and allow notifications of new courses. To set up a profile hover over the top right hand Welcome icon.

Overdrive Read-Alongs are narrated eBooks that are read aloud in your browser using Overdrive Read.
